Casting by Maja

Maja Hamplová is a casting director who has been casting feature films, series and commercials under her own brand Casting by Maja since 2016. Recent projects include We Have Never Been Modern, Mr. and Mrs. Stodolovi, Restore Point and Ordinary Failures, among many others. Series credits include We Are On It, Comrades!, Addicts, Suspicion and the upcoming miniseries The Daughter of the Nation for Canal+. As a casting director for Czech co-productions, she has also worked on acclaimed feature films such as Christian Schwochow's Je suis Karl and Fanny Ovesen's Laura. Together with director and producer Matěj Chlupáček, she runs Barletta Productions, a prolific production company working on feature films, series and commercials in Central Europe.
